1. What PuroKaraoke is
PuroKaraoke is an online service for organizing karaoke nights: it lets guests sign up from their phones, shows the list of singers and provides a dashboard and a screen for whoever organizes the event (the "Organizer"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.
2. Your account
- You must give us accurate information (site name and email) and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for whatever happens from your account.
- You must be of legal age or have the authorization of someone who can enter into a contract on your behalf.
- You can ask us to delete your account and your data at any time.
3. Free trial and plans
When you sign up you get a 14-day free trial. Once the trial ends, you need to subscribe to a plan to keep using the site. The price and plan conditions are shown before you subscribe. If the plan is not paid or the trial ends, the site stops being available to guests until the situation is resolved; we do not delete your data right away.
4. Music, videos and rights
- PuroKaraoke does not sell or include music or licenses. The karaoke videos are chosen by the Organizer and play from YouTube using its embedded player.
- The Organizer is responsible for holding the authorizations needed to play music at their event or venue (for example, from the collective rights management organizations of their country, such as SADAIC and AADI-CAPIF in Argentina) and for complying with YouTube's terms of use.
- We do not guarantee that a video will be available: it may be removed, blocked or unable to play by decision of its owner or YouTube.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for illegal purposes, to spread offensive or discriminatory content or content that infringes third-party rights, or to try to access other sites' data, overload the system or get around its limits. The Organizer is responsible for what their guests type and what is shown on screen; the service includes basic filters, which are not foolproof.
6. Usage limits
Video search uses a daily YouTube quota shared among the sites on the platform, so each site has a maximum number of searches per day. Pasting a YouTube link does not use that quota. We may adjust these limits to keep the service available to everyone.
7. Availability and changes
We do our best to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors, or that it depends only on us (for example, on YouTube or the hosting provider). We may improve, change or discontinue features, giving reasonable advance notice when it significantly affects customers.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, PuroKaraoke is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or data, or for problems at an event caused by internet failures, the Organizer's devices, YouTube or third parties. We recommend having a backup plan for important events.
9. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close a site that breaches these terms or puts the service at risk. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.
10. Personal data
The handling of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will publish the new version on this page with its date. If the changes are significant, we will let you know by email. Continuing to use the service after the notice means accepting the new version.
12. Governing law and contact
