1. Who is responsible

PuroKaraoke processes the data of Organizers (the people who create a site). Guests who sign up at a karaoke leave their data on that Organizer's site, and the Organizer decides what to do with it; PuroKaraoke stores and processes it only so that the service works.

2. What data we process

From Organizers:

  • Site name, chosen address, email and password (the password is stored encrypted, never as plain text).
  • The logo and colors they upload, and their site settings.
  • Sign-up date, accepted terms version and plan status.

From guests:

  • The name or nickname they type, the song and artist, and the applause they give.
  • An anonymous device identifier, stored in the browser itself, to recognize their songs and apply turn limits.

Technical data: the IP address is used temporarily to limit abusive login attempts and sign-ups. We do not use advertising cookies. On all PuroKaraoke pages (home page, sign-up, login, guest pages, event screens and Organizer dashboards) we use Google Analytics to measure, statistically, how many people visit the site and which pages they view; Google may use cookies and receive data such as your IP address and browser type, according to its own policy. We do not send Google the names or songs that are entered. The site stores data in the browser's storage (for example, your last name and preferences) only to work properly.

3. What we use it for

  • Showing the list of singers, announcing turns and managing the karaoke queue.
  • Letting the Organizer manage their site, view the history and download a CSV of their night.
  • Sending service emails (for example, to reset a password).
  • Maintaining security and preventing abuse.

4. What the public sees

The name or nickname and the song a guest enters are shown in the list and on the event screen. Please avoid using sensitive data in that field.

5. Who it is shared with

  • Hosting provider: data is stored on Hostinger's servers.
  • YouTube / Google: karaoke videos are searched for and played through YouTube. When they play, YouTube may process data according to its own policies.
  • Google Analytics: visit statistics for PuroKaraoke's pages (see "Technical data").
  • Payment provider: when payments are made, payment data is processed by the payment provider and we do not store it.

We do not sell personal data.

6. How long it is kept

Each event's data is kept until the Organizer deletes it ("Start new night" removes the queue and the history) or closes their account. If a site is closed or deleted, its data, logo and settings are removed.

7. Security

We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords stored with encryption and data separated by site. No system is infallible, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data by writing to us at our contact email. In Argentina, Law 25,326 on Personal Data Protection recognizes these rights, and the Agency for Access to Public Information is the supervisory authority, where you can also file complaints.

9. Minors

The service is designed for events with a general audience. Minors must use it with an adult's authorization and supervision.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page with its date and, if the change is significant, we will notify you by email.
